Elizabeth has focused her career on reducing stigma around adolescent sexuality. She began in the field as a teen peer educator and has fought for young people’s right to quality sex education and reproductive health care ever since. Elizabeth worked as an education manager at Planned Parenthood Shasta Pacific providing staff supervision, training, evaluation, project management, and comprehensive sexuality education. Elizabeth holds a Masters in Public Health from San Francisco State University where she designed a sexuality education curriculum for adolescent girls focused on desire and pleasure. Prior to joining the Sea Change program, Elizabeth worked as a supervisor for the Healthy Families Program in upstate New York. As a trained Doula, Elizabeth has also had the honor of supporting women during labor.
